The Jewish Quarter

Finally I have internet in my flat and have returned back to civilisation so I thought it was about time I uploaded some photos. This is the beautiful Mezquita, part of the Jewish Quarter in Córdoba. This my favourite part of the city so far. The only downside is that it is always full of tourists. However, if you ever get a chance to see it, this won’t surprise you. All around the Mezquita are little cobbled winding streets with shops selling leather and silver jewelery which Cordobans are famous for. There are also a lot of tapas bars which serve typical Cordoban food and a few which have flamenco shows while you eat. Close by is the old roman bridge The Puente Romano which connects the city and is built over the Guadiamar River. It really is beautiful, just try not to get lost in the streets! I did!Image
